Rosalie Wirzbicki passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Spring Home at Galloway in Galloway Township. She was 99 years old.

Born on April 17, 1925 in Newark to the late Josephine and Bernandino Carollo, she was a longtime resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.

Mrs. Wirzbicki was employed as a librarian for many years with the Woodbridge Township Public Library.

She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; and a member of Golden Circle, Avenel Seniors.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wirzbicki was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Wirzbicki, in 2007.

Surviving are her sons, Frank Wirzbicki and his wife, Mariana, of Galloway Township and Joseph Wirzbicki and his wife, Ginny, of Saint Augustine, FL; granddaughters, Daniela Condruz, Linda Hooker and her husband, Keith, and Michelle Zitman and her husband, Jason; and great grandson, Sawyer.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Mount Olivat Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mrs. Wirzbicki's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
