Rosa M. Marinho passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. She was 57 years old. Born in Pias-Mono, Portugal, she resided in Newark before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township ten years ago. Mrs. Marinho was employed as an attendant with Lisbon Cleaning in Newark for many years. She was predeceased by her mother, Rosa Loureiro Soares. Surviving are her husband, Antonino Marinho; her father, Manuel Soares, of Portugal; a daughter, Isabel Lopes, of Avenel; three sons, Manuel Marinho of Avenel, Martinho Marinho of Colonia and Rafael Marinho of Edison; a sister, Madalena Conde, of Portugal; and four grandchildren Bryan, Christopher, Andrew, and Olivia. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
