Obituary

Ronald W. Puhl passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 74 years old.

Born in Pittsburgh, he has resided in Woodbridge for the past 18 years.

Mr. Puhl attended Tri State University in Indiana where he studied electrical engineering. He began his career in the electrical field with Fischbach and Moore in Pittsburgh and moved to the New Jersey area in 1986, working as a project manager with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in New York City for 20 years, before retiring in 2006.

He bowled for many years in leagues at Carolier Lanes, now Bowlero, in North Brunswick, was an avid fan of all the Pittsburgh sports teams and had served as president of the Highview Manor Homeowners Association in Woodbridge.

Surviving are his wife of 17 years, the former Carol Hemstock; children, Laura Monsalvatge and her husband, Geoff, of Coral Springs, FL and Douglas Puhl and his wife, Susie, of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Denyse Lewis and her husband, Tim, of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan and his wife, Grace, Amanda, Dana and Jasmine; and a great granddaughter, Liliana.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Lymphoma Research Foundation, Wall Street Plaza, 88 Pine Street, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10005 in Mr. Puhl's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
