Ron "Doo Wop" Pacansky of Woodbridge passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  He was 73 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ; He was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge.

Mr. Pacansky was a 1964 graduate of Woodbridge High School.

He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

He was a communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge and was a member and past Commander of The American Legion Post #87 in Woodbridge.

He was employed Diamond Communications, North American Equipment,  and Revlon before  General Dynamics where he retired in 1996 as a  Manufacturing Supervisor.

He was a beloved Brother, Uncle and a great friend to all.  His many friends will always say he will do anything for you  before himself this is a trait that can never be matched.  His passion for giving back to the American Legion, VFW and other organizations and his love for selling "Poppies" was unrelenting.

Ronzoni was a traditionalist, his love for family gatherings, Sunday dinners and sporting events on TV with his nephew Anthony.  His passion for board games and sing-a-longs with the apple of his eye, great niece Giavanna and his long deep talks about family stories and values with his niece Heather.

He was an avid Lehigh Valley n-scale railroad train collector and always the life of the party with his eclectic singing skills.

Ronnie loved music especially the 50's era.  He loved to sing and did so, at a sold out audience in 1980 at Ruths Place in Rahway.  His back up band was Blue Smoke/Bill Turner the lead singer said "their was no one like the Ronz".  He gave 100 % and had a great appreciataion for the arts he is now singing " In the still of the Night" to the angels.  We love you with all our hearts, until we meet again you will be truly missed.

He was predceased by his parents Michael and Catherine Moroz Pacansky.

Surviving are his Sister and Brother in Law, Raymond and Denise Smith of Avenel, Kathleen Jones of Edison and Shirley Sadusk of Whiting; a brother Michael Pacansky of Woodbridge;  and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park, North Hanover Township.
