Ronald E. McQuade passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 54 years old.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, he has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township for 17 years.

Mr. McQuade was employed as Quality Control Manager for Wakefern Foods in Kearny and Newark for many years.

He was a communicant of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia; was active with Troop 523, Boy Scouts of America at the church; and as a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.

Ron was predeceased by his wife, Teresa Cotroneo McQuade, in 2012; son, Joseph McQuade, in 2011; parents, Doris and Thomas McQuade; sister, Donna DiNallo; and brother, William Navarro.

Surviving are his daughter, Rebecca McQuade of Colonia; sister, Linda Palczynski of Woodbridge, VA; and brother, John Navarro of McComb, MS.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 10:45 a.m. at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church, Colonia. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald House, 145 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, in Ron's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
