Ronald Jozefowicz passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 79 years old.

Born in Newark, he has resided in Woodbridge for the past 44 years.

Mr. Jozefowicz was employed as a bus driver by the Woodbridge Township Board of Education and had previously worked with Gordon's Gin in Linden. His passion, however, was as a musician, where he played bass for several bands, including 12th of Never, Goodfellows and Top Brass.

He was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Sylvia Stilo Jozefowicz; children, John Gulliford and his wife Kim, of Winfield Park and Donna Shirley and her husband, Scott, of Woodbridge; and grandchildren, Nicholas Shirley, Johnny Gulliford and Anthony Shirley.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
