Ronald Iovino passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home in Woodbridge after a battle with multiple ailments. He was 68 years old.
Born in Brooklyn on April 26, 1952, he has resided in Woodbridge for the past 17 years. He was the son of the late Joseph A. and Antoinette Iovino.
Ronnie graduated from Grady High School in 1970. Following in his father's footsteps he took over the family business, Dependable Refrigeration in 1990. He continued to successfully run his company until his retirement.
He was an avid golfer, poker player, and NFL football fan. All he cared about was making people happy and would do anything for the ones he cared about. He was the most caring and honest man who dedicated his life to his daughter and doing anything he possibly could for her. He was an amazing father and uncle. Also a great cat dad, he loved his cat Larry very much.
Surviving are his beloved daughter, Tara Iovino, of Ocean; brother, James Iovino, of Raritan; nephew, Peter Iovino and niece Ava Iovino of Saratoga.
The family wishes to thank our friends and family for their kindness, prayers, and support given to the family during Ronnie's illnesses.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.
