Rolando A. Avila passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. He was 65 years old.

Born in Holguin, Cuba, he came to the US in 1966 and has resided in Parlin since 1989.

Mr. Avila was employed as a forklift operator with Selective Transportation in Keasbey since 1994.

Surviving are his children, Daniel A. Avila of Avenel; and Candice Avila and her husband, Jason Pietrzak, of Raritan; and their mother Dale A. Avila and brothers, Nestor Avila of Avenel and Alberto Avila of Fort Myers, FL.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, December 8, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral service will follow at 7:45 p.m. Cremation will be private .
