Roberta R. Mirabile passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 67 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she has resided in Metuchen since 1992. Mrs. Mirabile was employed at the NJ Veterans Home at Menlo Park for 15 years before retiring in 2013; and enjoyed vacationing with family and friends aboard cruise ships . She was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Mirabile; a son, Anthony Mirabile; and her parents, Thelma and Sidney Rothstein. Surviving are a daughter, Christine Mena, of Metuchen; two grandchildren, Briana Mena and Alexandra Ramirez; a sister, Barbara Rothstein, of Metuchen; and a brother, Elliott Rothstein, of New York. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 3:45 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
