Robert J. Woods, Jr. of Lakewood passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. He was 62 years old. Born in Elizabeth, NJ; He resided in Colonia before moving to Lakewood in 2010. Mr. Woods received an associate's degree from Middlesex County College. He was employed as a Clerk with Bayway Refinery in Linden for 35 years retiring in 2009. He was a Railroad, Car, Music and Classic Movie Enthusiast, but his greatest joy was time spent with friends and family. He was predeceased by his parents Robert J. Woods Sr. who passed in 2012 and Ruth Bryant Woods who passed away in 2005. He is survived by two brothers Allan Woods and his wife Kathy of Bellingham, Massachusetts, and Richard Woods and his wife Ellen of Berkeley Heights; and Nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Ian and Niece Colleen. Funeral services will take place Saturday, November 29, 2014 10:00 a.m. at the Vanderhoven Memorial Chapel in Hazelwood Cemetery, Lake Avenue Rahway.
