Robert William Johnson of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Cranford Hall Rehabilitation Center in Cranford. He was 80 years old. Born in jersey City, NJ; He resided in Avenel for many years. Mr. Johnson was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a machinist with general Dynamics in Avenel for 41 years retiring in 1996. He was predeceased by a sister Florence DiPasqaule and a brother Joseph Johnson. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral will take place Saturday 8:30 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A 9:00 am Funeral liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. Entombment will be in Forest Green Memorial Park in Marlboro. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
