Robert J. Van Duyne of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township passsed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at home.   He was 77 years old.

Born in Plainfield, NJ;  He resided in Woodbridge most of his life before moving to Iselin 3 years ago.

Mr. Van Duyne served in the Army National Guard .

He was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge and was a member of the T. Nulty Post #471 American Legion in Iselin.

He was a New York Ranger Fan and loved going to the games with his son Craig.

He was predceased by his parents Howard and Margaret Dougherty Van Duyne.

Surviving are his son Craig Van Duyne of Woodbridge; his daughter Wendy Karabinos and her husband Paul of Woodbridge; a grandson Nicholas Karabinos of Woodbridge; a sister Sandra Hall and her husband Gene of Manahawakin; a brother Douglas Van Duyne and his wife Kristin of Minnesota; and his former wife Danielle Van Duyne of Woodbridge.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, May 19, 2021 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-Greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.  a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge.  Entombment will be in St. James Chapel Mausoluem,

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Woodbridge Animal Shelter 195 Woodbridge Avenue, Sewaren, NJ 07077.
