Robert J. Mencor, Jr. of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at home. He was 43 years old. Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in Woodbridge before moving to Colonia 30 years ago. Mr. Mencor was employed with Woodbridge Township Sanitation Department for 10 years and currently was an employed as Manager for a Night Club. He was predeceased by his father Robert J. Mencor, Sr.; his step-father John L. Cifrodella. He is survived by his Mother Josephine Cifrodella Colatrella; a sister Nicole Cedeno; two nephews Joseph and Jonathan Cedeno; and his former wife Christina Stavrakis. Funeral will take place 9:15 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel St., Avenel. a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
