Robert J. Hull passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 60 years old. Born in Carbondale, PA he was raised in Stroudsburg, PA and resided in Metuchen moving to the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township 10 years ago. Mr. Hull was employed as manager with Class A Transportation in North Brunswick for the past 6 years. He was very active as a sports official at the grammar school, high school and college levels for 11 different sports in the central New Jersey area. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Gail Peterson Hull; three children, Heather L. Hull, Shannon Hull-Thorgersen and Paul R. Hull, all of Clark; two step children, Jennifer Job-Whitney of Aurora, CO and Michael Job of Port Reading; 6 step grandchildren; and a grandchild on the way. Visitation will on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research, 106 Towerview Court, Cary, NC 27513.
