Robert G. Heruska passed away on Thursday June 5, 2025 at his home in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township. He was 88 years old.

Born on May 13, 1937 in Roselle to the late George and Estelle Heruska, he resided in Port Reading for most of his life.

He worked in patient transport at J.F.K Medical Center before retiring in 2019.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S Army.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife, Irene Heruska, who passed away in 2004; and his brother, Thomas Heruska.

Surviving Robert are his daughters, Patricia Conceicao of Port Reading and Janet Piotrowski of Havre de Grace, MD; his grandchildren, Ashley and Edward; and his sister-in-law, Shelly Heruska, of Stafford Township, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street Woodbridge, NJ 07095. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Linden. Visitation for family and friends will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
