Robert Ross Guellnitz, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at his home in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township. He was 72 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, he has resided in Colonia for the past 43 years.

Mr. Guellnitz earned his Bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University and his Master's degree from Kean University.

He was employed with the Roselle Park Board of Education for 32 years, retiring as supervisor, science department in 2002.

Mr. Guellnitz was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge; a member of the Raritan Bay Anglers Club; and a loyal (New York) Giant fan.

He loved traveling and was proud of having visited all 50 US states.

He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Marie Jepsen Guellnitz.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Arlene Pateman Guellnitz; son, Robert Ross Guellnitz, Jr.; and brother, Richard Guellnitz and his wife Joann, of Florida; and by much loved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mr. Guellnitz's life will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, One Trinity Lane, Woodbridge.
