Robert B. Furgason, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 75 years old.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he has resided in Somerset for the past 33 years.

Mr. Furgason was a United States Army Reserves Veteran, and received his bachelor's degree from Carroll University in Wisconsin.

He was employed as a Buyer for J.C. Penny & Company in New York City for 25 years until retiring in 1988. After which he and his spouse Claire owned and operated the C & B Embroidery Company for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Bernice Furgason; a sister, Marie Wolke; and a step-son, Vincent Cronheim.

He is survived by his spouse, Claire DiGaudio; a sister, Kathy Massman; a daughter, Maija Johnson and her husband, Darryl; a son, Aaron Furgason and his wife, Kelly; a step-daughter, Karen Paul and her husband, Frank; a step-son, Bruce Cronheim and his wife, Leslie; a step daughter-in-law, Tiffany Cronheim; and ten grandchildren, Emma, Meghan, Caelan, Emerson, Michaela, Rayna, Jack, Corinne, Camrin, and Vincent.

Private services were held under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge .
