Robert F. Coffman, Jr. of Woodbridge passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. He was 76 years old.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ; He resided in Brooklyn all of his childhood, remained in the New York area before moving to Woodbridge Township where he resided, spending his spare time and most of retirement in Maine.

Mr. Coffman owned and operated Beauty Salons in the Metropolitan area for many years.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, traveling, archery, music, and old movies. He was a nature and adventure lover with a heart of gold. He was generous beyond his means and touched many lives on his journey.

He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Hacker Coffman who passed away in 2002; his parents Robert F. Coffman, Sr. and Phyllis E. Millwater Coffman; and a brother George Coffman who passed away in 2004.

He is survived by his daughter Melanie Lynch and her husband Brian of Woodbridge; a son Robert F. Coffman, III and his wife Sashiko of Secaucus; a sister Bettyjane Lawley of Enola, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren Brian, Jesse, Robert IV, Kevin, Kelly, Angelo, and Claudia.

Funeral will take place Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
