Robert J. Bartus of Edison passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. He was 68 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on January 4, 1957 to the late Daniel Sr. and Rose Ann Bartus, Bob grew up in Woodbridge before moving to Edison 43 years ago.

He was a member of the Woodbridge High School Class of 1975.

Bob was a Production Manager with Jersey Printing Associates in Atlantic Highlands for 15 years before retiring in 2008.

He was a lifelong member of The Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church in Woodbridge. Bob loved being outdoors and camping, and was a proud Eagle Scout. In his free time, he also loved to watch NASCAR Racing and the New York Yankees.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Donna Bartus; his daughter Kimberly DeMaio and her husband Andrew DeMaio of Hillsborough; his son Robert W. Bartus and his wife Ali Bartus of Piscataway; his brother Daniel Bartus, Jr. of Woodbridge; and two grandsons Jackson Daniel DeMaio and Leo Robert Bartus.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 9:30 am from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue,) Woodbridge, NJ 07095. A 10:00 am Funeral Service will take place at The Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church of Woodbridge. Burial will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions in Robert's memory be made to The Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church of Woodbridge, 94 North James Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
