Rita C. Roussey, nee Spiess, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Foothill Acres Care Center in Hillsborough. She was 82 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Roussey has resided in Woodbridge since 1960.

She was employed with Woodbridge Oldsmobile as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with her husband George, where they would go to the theme parks and show friends and family around. She loved taking photos on all her trips and of her family.

Mrs. Roussey was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

She was predeceased by her husband, George P. Roussey, in 2013.

Surviving are her sons, George D. Roussey and his wife, Kim, of Piscataway and John T. Roussey and his wife, Shirley, of Carneys Point; five grandchildren, Katie, Victoria, Mark, Jonathan and Nicholas; two great grandchildren Kamryn and Sal; and her sister, Veroncia Spiess Cesareo.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Brigadier General W.C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Park, Wrightstown. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
