Raymond R. Quina passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Alcoeur Gardens in Aberdeen. He was 91 years old. He was born in Jersey City and resided in Secaucus before moving to the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township in 1969. Mr. Quina was employed as a guard at Rahway State Prison in Avenel for 25 years before retiring in 1987. He belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords, was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and belonged to the US Navy Armed Guard. Mr. Quina is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Dorothy Francak Quina; a daughter, Dorothy Thompson and her husband, Gary, of Fords; two sons, George John Rosko of Highland Falls, NY and Robert Quina of Aurora, CO; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a great great grandson. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
