Obituary

Raymond S.  Pross passed away  on Tuesday, November  14, 2023  at

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. He was 43 years old.

Born in Red Bank, NJ  on March 4, 1980, he resided in Edison for most of his life, but spent several years living in Los Angeles & Arizona.  Ray earned an associates degree in marketing from Berkeley College.  He was most recently employed  as a  forklift battery technician with AJ Jersey in Dayton for the past year where he was a member of the local 863 Teamsters Union.  He was also previously employed with Elite Billiards in Edison.

Ray was the life of the party and always up for a good time.  He had sharp wit, a marvelous sense of humor, and was quite the wordsmith.  He enjoyed spending time with his chihuahua, Lily, playing billiards, and  spoiling and entertaining his nieces, nephews, and children of the friends he adored.

Ray  was  predeceased  by  his  mother,  Melany  Olochwoczcz  Pross;  brother, Michael A. McCann; nephew Nicholas McCann, and his beloved pitbull, Cowdog.  Surviving are his  father,  Nicholas  A.  Pross,  of  Edison;  sisters,  Dareth Voorhees and her husband, Paul, of Iselin, Afton Dewland and her husband, Nicholas, of Burlington Township; Hayley Pross-Rivera and her husband, Joseph, of Butler; brother, Andrew S. Pross and his wife, Christina, of Avenel;  His maternal grandmother Helen Olochwoszcz; nieces, Eternity, Anastasia, Angela, Kelly, Natalie, Megan and Ava; nephews, Michael, Nick, Jr., Paul Jr., John, Alex, Ryan, CJ, and Nathan; and many, many caring and cherished friends.
