Raymond C. Peterson, 90, formerly of Woodbridge, New Jersey, Ware, Massachusetts, and Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 8:34 a.m., Monday, September 1, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born October 11, 1934, in Woodbridge, New Jersey, a son of the late Earl Carl and Madeline Ethel (LaPenta) Peterson. On April 27, 1957, he married the former Joan K. Kovacs, who preceded him in death January 12, 2025.

Raymond was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and attended University of Vermont.

He was employed as a quality control inspector at Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a supervisor at a hospital equipment factory in Massachusetts.

Raymond was a member of the Elks Club, Woodbridge.

He loved buying and selling antiques.

Surviving, are nephews and nieces, Earl and his wife Carol Peterson, Eric Peterson, Scott and his wife Linda Peterson, and Jennifer Peterson; one brother-in-law, Robert and his wife Kathleen Kovacs of Millmont; one sister-in-law, Geraldine and her husband Walter Dworak of Edison, New Jersey; niece, Paige Dworak; nephews, Robert, Keith, and Kevin Kovacs; and one brother-in-law, Eugene Antol of Mifflinburg; nephew Michael Antol; and niece Patricia Antol.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dawn Albino; sisters-in-law, Roberta Toth and Grace Antol.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2025, at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge NJ 07095, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Freddie Paiva, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery, Woodbridge
