Raymond A. Burgio passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Sunrise of Marlboro Senior Living. He was 87 years old.

Born in Weehawken on January 31, 1938 to the late Josephine (Tarantino) and Raymond Burgio, he resided in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township for 40 years before moving to Howell in 2009.

A jack of all trades, Mr. Burgio worked for Dri-Print Foils and the Woodbridge Bowling Center as a mechanic before being employed as a driver with Academy Bus Company and Gem Limousine for many years prior to his retirement in 2010.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving in Korea; and belonged to Post #9691, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Howell and Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 74 in Freehold.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Karin Schade Burgio, in 2015; and brother, Michael Burgio, in 2010.

Surviving are his loving children, Kristine Skros and her husband, Krzysztof, of Port Reading, Joanne Fletcher and her husband, Boyd, of Crownsville, MD and Kenneth Burgio and his wife, Wendy, of Old Bridge; and adored grandchildren, Jeffrey and his wife, Katherine, Christopher and his fiancée, Victoria, Steven, Rachel and Zachary.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
