Ramona Guerrero, of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Chatham Hills Care Center in Chatham. She was 77 years old.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Ramona carried the warmth of her heritage throughout her life. She resided in Puerto Rico before moving to New Jersey, where she lived in the Metuchen area for many years.

Ms. Guerrero was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, who loved God and her family above all else. Her sisters were her best friends and confidants, and they shared a deep, unbreakable bond. She was employed as an assembler for many years, retiring 12 years ago from Tech 21 in Clifton.

In her retirement, she embraced a new role as the best cat-sitter to her beloved furry nephews, Chicken and Winchester, and her niece, Betty. She was a former member of Fuente de Salvacion Church, Amory Poder Church, and Metuchen Assembly of God.

Ramona was predeceased by her father, Juan De La Cruz Guerrero.

She is survived by her loving mother, Altagracia Josefina Velazquez; her devoted children, Aldemar Villanueva and Sumaya Villanueva; her beloved sisters, Matilde Guerrero, Altagracia Emojevu, and Mayra Wu; her brother, Juan Guerrero; and her cherished grandchildren, Ariana Villanueva and Aldemar Villanueva, Jr.

Services and Memorials
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
