Phyllis Capozzi Masters passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home in Barnegat. She was 66 years old. Born in Newark, she resided in Woodbridge for many years before moving to Barnegat in 2006. Mrs. Masters earned her Bachelor's degree from Jersey City State University and was employed as a teacher in Woodbridge and Perth Amboy for 20 years before retiring in 2011. She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Frank Masters, Jr.; a daughter, Tara Glynn, of East Brunswick; two sons, Frank Masters of Howell and Michael Masters of Little Egg Harbor; a sister, Joan Yochum, of Belleville; a brother, Edward Capozzi, of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren, Sophia, Devin, Connor and Chase. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
