Peter S. Psota of Perth Amboy passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Home. He was 89 years old. Born in Perth Amboy; He was a lifelong resident. Mr. Psota was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II and Korea. He was employed as Supervisor of Chemical Operators for Dow Chemical Company in Perth Amboy for 28 years retiring in 1991. He was predeceased by his parents John and Julia Psota; five sisters Margaret, Ann, Helen, Theresa, and Mary; three brothers John, Anthony, and Frank. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Martha Trevena Psota; a sister Julia Malinowski of Fords; five godchildren Patsy Pastrick, Brian Currid, Jamie Currid, Chrystie Toth-Lalor, and Taylor Roberts; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will take place Thursday 9:45 a.m. from COSTELLO-KOYEN FUNERAL HOME (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street at Demorest Avenue, Avenel. a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, Visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
