Peter Hallock passed away on Thursday March 26, 2026 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 91 years old.

Born on June 25, 1934 in Brooklyn to the late Halsey and Marjorie Hallock and raised in The Bronx and Long Island. He was a resident of Menlo Park Terrace in Woodbridge, NJ for over 50 years.

Peter went to St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY where he received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Education.

He worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehab for 25 years before retiring in 1991.

Peter was a veteran of the United States Army from 1958 to 1960.

He was a parishioner of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Edison, a Master Mason since 1964 and a barbershop singer with the Deans of Harmony and Jerseyaires for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Charlotte Apgar Hallock.

Surviving Peter is his daughter Heather Lily Hallock-Diamond of Perth Amboy; and his grandson Peter Hrehowsik and his wife Kelly Shannon of Menlo Park Terrace.

A Memorial service will take place on Monday. April 6. 2026 1:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 445 Old Post Road, Edison, NJ 08817.
