Pearl L. Claps passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was 92 years old.

She was born in Aruba and resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for 57 years before moving to Toms River 4 years ago.

She was a communicant of Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony V Claps who passed away in 2016; and a grandson, Thomas B. Quigley, in 1996.

Surviving are four daughters, Jo Ann Farinella and her husband, Charles, of Toms River, Karen A. Quigley of Woodbridge, Jacqueline Sepa and her husband, Steve, of Woodbridge and Toni Ann Hoffman and her husband, Scott, of Toms River; a sister, Patricia Margiotta, of New York, NY; eight grandchildren, Kristina Leonardelli, Jonathan Quigley, Anthony Farinella, Jennifer Spiecker, Monica Sepa-LaFemina , Steve Sepa, Andrew Hoffman and Nicholas Hoffman; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.   A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:15 a.m. at Saint Cecelia's Catholic. Church, Iselin.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  at the funeral home.
