Pauline Rose Moreau died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ. She was 91.

She was born in Christ Hospital in Jersey City on January 7, 1933; and lived in West New York, NJ, from 1933 to 1954 when she married and moved to Menlo Park Terrace.  She was one of the original owners of the development and lived in the same house for 70 years.

Pauline was a 1951 graduate of Memorial High School West New York. She worked in accounts payable at The Star Ledger in Newark from 1981 until retiring in 2008.

Surviving are a son, Willliam Moreau, of South Brunswick, NJ; four daughters, Marilyn Stephan, of Woodbridge, NJ, Gail Tannenbaum of East Brunswick, NJ, Jean Perucca, of Houston, TX, and Nancy Moreau, of Menlo Park Terrace, NJ; eight grandchildren, Robert Stephan, Sondra (Tannenbaum) Phifer, James Stephan, Daniel Perucca, Craig Tannenbaum, Steven Perucca, David Moreau and Karen Moreau; and nine great-grandchildren.

Cremation and burial will be private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
