Patricia M
Terpanick
March 15, 1938 — March 27, 2026
Woodbridge
Patricia Terpanick, 88, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and deep love for her family. Born on March 15, 1938, in Long Branch, New Jersey, she was raised in Atlantic Highlands before later making her home in Woodbridge, New Jersey, where she built a life with her beloved husband, Raymond Terpanick, and together they raised their three children.
Patricia was a proud graduate of the Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing and began her career in nursing before devoting herself fully to her family. She was the heart of her home, guiding those she loved with strength, care, and quiet resilience. Patricia had a deep love for her family and took great pride in the life and legacy they built, including their continued service in the New Jersey State Police. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother—lovingly known as "GG"—and found her greatest joy in time spent with her great-grandchildren.
Patricia loved her slow mornings—scrolling Facebook with her coffee and catching up on the newspaper. She was a true creature of habit and liked her routines just the way they were. But nothing compared to her summer weekends in Toms River, where she'd spend hours floating in the sun on her raft. She had a deep love for flowers and was happiest tending to her plants. At night, you could count on her having a game on, as a devoted sports fan.
She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Terpanick, and her daughter, Debra Terpanick. She is survived by her sons, Alan Terpanick and Thomas Terpanick and his wife Melissa; her grandchildren, Stephanie Maslonka and her husband Maciej and their children, Maeva and Lila; Brad Terpanick and his wife Emily and their child, Grant; and her grandson, Trevor Terpanick.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home in Woodbridge, New Jersey. A final viewing will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send more flowers—there was nothing Patricia loved more than being surrounded by an abundance of flowers.
Patricia will be remembered for her strength, her nurturing spirit, and her unwavering dedication to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will live on in all who knew and loved her.
