Patricia Karl Notchey passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. She was 78 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for over 50 years.

A Graduate of Woodbridge High School class of 1958, she was a former Girl Scout Leader, coached cheerleading for the Port Reading Saints for many years and was an avid reader.

Mrs. Notchey was employed as a medical office manager in Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence J. Notchey, in 2013.

Surviving are her daughters, Lori Jensen of Long Branch, Shari Mattern of Clarks Summit, PA and Jill Taraska of Woodbridge; son, James Notchey, of Attleboro, MA; grandchildren, Matthew, Kristen, Brian, Michael, Steven, Christopher, Margaret and Josephine; and great-granddaughter, Madilyn Patricia Jensen.

Funeral services were held privately under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), Woodbridge. Interment was in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint James Food Pantry, 174 Grove Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Mrs. Notchey's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
