Orlando J. Vernachio of Woodbridge passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 14, 2017. He was 91 years old.

Born in Carteret, NJ; He resided in Woodbridge since 1970.

He was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge, and a member of The Don Bosco Knights of Columbus #5809.

Mr. Vernachio was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II.

He was employed as an Electrician with Benjamin Moore Paints in Newark for 40 years retiring in 1990.

He was predeceased by his parents Carmen and Carmella Vernachio.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Alice Kozmata Vernachio; two daughters Donna Martel and her husband Thomas of St. George Utah and Lori Vernachio Greiza and her husband Robert of Sewaren; 3 Grandchildren Carissa, Bryce, and Alexander; 2 great-grandchildren Andrew and Charlotte.

A 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-Greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.
