At home and surrounded by her family, Olga Teschke, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2018.

Olga was born on May 3 ^rd , 1930, in Plains, PA to the late Martin and Margaret Evanchik. She was the third of four children and the only daughter. She grew up surrounded by extended family and was blessed to have many cousins with whom she remained close throughout her life.

After the family moved to Irvington, NJ, she attended Irvington High School, where she graduated with her future husband, Carl. They married in 1953 and enjoyed 63 years of marriage until his passing in November, 2017.

Olga was a kind and thoughtful friend to many, a wonderful cook, an active member and volunteer at Evangel Church, a long time bowler and (for more hours than she could count!) a joyful babysitter for her nine grandchildren. Countless people were the recipients of her cards and loving notes over the years. She never forgot nor missed a loved one's birthday.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Carl, and her brothers John and Joseph Evanchik.

Olga will be missed by her three daughters, Deborah Lenart (Ed), Margaret Chespak (Jim), and Patricia Carro (Bob), as well as her grandchildren, Lindsey Chespak (Chase), Edward Fofrich (Kristen), Christopher Chespak (Lauren), Christina Kyriakos (Raj), Beth Finch (Jon), Douglas Chespak (Alia), Diana Ruperto (Phil), James Lenart and Meredith Carro, her brother Ted Evanchik (Kay) and sister-in-law Colleen Evanchik.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2018       from 10 until 11 a.m. to be followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green St. at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
