Nubia M. Jimenez passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at White Plains Hopital in White Plains, NY. She was 66 years old.

Born in Colombia, she was raised in Manhattan and resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Burlington several years ago.

Ms. Jimenez was awarded a bachelors degree from Manhattan College and was employed by the State of New York as a Regulatory Compliance Officer with the Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services in New York City prior to her retirement.

She was predceased by her father, Juan Jimenez.

Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Nordstrom and her husband, Eric Tisch, of Avenel; mother, Elvia Jimenez, of Jamaica, Queens, NY; brothers, William and Orlando Jimenez; and beloved grandson, Lowen Tisch.

Visitation for family and friends will be held beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ. A memorial service in celebration of Nubia's life will follow at 11:30 a.m.
