Nicholas M. DaPrile passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Whispering Knoll Assisted Living in Edison. He was 93 years old. He was born in Port Reading and lived in Woodbridge for most of his life. Mr. DaPrile was employed as a sales manager with Prudential Insurance Company in Newark for many years. He was a proud United States Army veteran of World War II; was a member and past Grand Knight with Middlesex Council 857, Knights of Columbus, Woodbridge; and was inducted into Woodbridge High School Sports Hall of Fame for his football skills. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Angelina Cornacchio DaPrile; three daughters, Linda Casey and her husband, Timothy, of Sewaren, Diane Tighe and her husband, Thomas, of Sayreville and Donna Pangaro and her husband, Michael, of Colonia; two sons, Dennis and his wife, Claire, of Wall and Raymond and his wife, Barbara, of Bethlehem, PA; eleven grandchildren, Dennis, Timothy, Lauren, Ryan, Brian, Alyson and her husband, Adam, Daniel, Brianne, Michael, Steven and Olivia; and a great grandson, Wesley Joseph. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
