Nancy Genna passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 85 years old.

Born in Elizabeth on May 5, 1940 to the late Albert and Mildred Crincoli, she has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township since 1964.

She was a communicant of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia.

Nancy was a strong, loving, and caring woman who brightened everyone's day. She was always there to support the people around her and brought joy, warmth, and comfort to all who knew her. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, they were the most important part of her life, and she loved them deeply and unconditionally

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Genna was predeceased by her brothers, Albert Crincoli, Charles Crincoli, Frank Crincoli and her sisters Gloria Campbell and Pauline Mundy.

Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Vincent Genna; children, Anthony Genna and his wife, Kim, of Edison, Joanne Neste and her husband, Damian, of Long Branch, and Michelle Arduini and her husband, Lewis, of Colonia; sisters Antoinette Mellage and Mildred Shaughnessy; and grandchildren, Damian, Alyssa, Genna, Vincent, Diana, Marina, and Gianna.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 9:15 am from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church, Colonia. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation for family and friends hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
