Nancy Gellici passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. She was 90 years old.

Born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on April 28, 1935 to the late Lourdes and Jose Coutinho, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for 28 years.

She was employed as a teacher with the state of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil prior to her retirement; and belonged to the Teacher's Group there.

Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Paul Gellici; daughter, Virginia Leao of Bloomfield; sister, Sonia Martinez, of Orlando, FL; step daughters, Janet Gellici of Annapolis, MD and Jenny Moore of Odenton, MD; and step sons, Joseph Gellici of Columbia, SC and John Gellici of Brick.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in Mrs. Gellici's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
