Milagros Alcaro Miravite passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Center for Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ. She was 81 years old.

Mila was born on November 27, 1943 in Manila, Philippines, and immigrated to the USA 53 years ago. She resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township, NJ for 40 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Cristeta and Simeon A. Miravite, Sr.

Surviving are her siblings, Linda Dizon, Alexander Miravite, Sr., Theresa Miravite, Remieliza Panlilio, Simeon Miravite, Jr., Marie Flores, and Robertino Miravite.

Milagros was a licensed dentist, certified scuba diver, enthusiastic gardener, world traveler, religious pilgrim, spiritual companion, loyal friend, loving aunt, and an even amazing sister.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ. A Novena will take place on Friday eveneing at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 244 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ.

Entombment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ.
