Miguel A. Rodriguez-Diaz passed away on Thursday November 3, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 81 years old.

Born on September 23, 1941 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to the late Pablo and Adria Rodriguez.  He resided in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico before moving to Avenel 5 years ago.

Miguel was employed as a maintenance worker with Local #32BJ Seiu in New York City for 30 years retiring in 1998.

He was married to Marina Rodriguez for 59 ½ years.

In addition to his wife Marina, Miguel was survived by his children Edwin Rodriguez of Staten Island, Denise Rodriguez, son-in-law Alan of Parlin, Daniel Rodriguez, and daughter-in-law Christine of Marlboro; his siblings Pablo Rodriguez of Brick, Carmen Bonet of New York City and Louis Rodriguez of Florida; and his seven grandchildren Justin, Mariah, Chelsea, Jared, Kyle, Ariana and Christian.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel.

Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday November 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
