Miguel A. Martinez passed away on January 14, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He was 64 years old.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mr. Martinez has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past 7 years.

Miguel worked as a building laborer for Laborers Local #502/1153 in South Orange for over 30 years. He played in recreational softball leagues with his buddies in his younger years and was an avid Yankees and Jets fan.

Miguel was predeceased by his parents Miguel A. Martinez Sr. and Margarita Montijo Martinez.

Miguel is survived by a son, daughter, and two grandsons. Miguel is also survived by a sister Awilda Rivera of Puerto Rico.

Private funeral services were held under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, Avenel.
