Michele Rhea Simoes of Philipsburg passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was 56 years old.

Born in Kearney, NJ, she was raised in Sewaren and resided in Jackson before moving to Philipsburg 8 years ago.

She was a 1987 Graduate of Woodbridge High School and was a Dental Assistant with Champagne Smiles in Morganville for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Judy Brooks Yurik, and a brother Raymond Dauber.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Sean Simoes; a daughter Tamara Behrens and her husband Michael of Manahawkin; a son Sean Simoes of Philipsburg; three brothers Bill Dauber, Michael Dauber, and Anthony Dauber and his wife Holly; and two grandchildren, whom she adored immensely, Jaxon and Cameron Clark.

Michele loved to travel, the beach, dancing, hiking, and sunsets. She also loved her dogs and her chickens. May she always be remembered for the fun, unfiltered spirit she was.

The visiting hours will be Friday, January 16,2026 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026 11:00 _am at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home with a private Committal service to follow at Rosehill Crematory in Linden.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or The ALS Foundation.
