Michele R. Calabrese passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at JFK Hartwyck at Cedar Brook Care Center in Plainfield. She was 48 years old.

Born in Rahway, she has resided in Woodbridge for most of her life.

Michele was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Calabrese, in 2010; mother, Gail Moore Askins, in 2000; and step brother, Joseph Sinay, in 2011.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, George and Christine Askins, of Woodbridge; brothers, George Askins III of Riverdale and Peter Pascal of Avenel; step sister, Nicole Sinay-Torres of North Carolina; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Funeral services will take place on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed at 9:45 a.m. with a Mass of Resurrection at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Cremation will be private.
