Michael Manfro Racioppi "Pop Pop" of the Avenel Section of Woodbridge Township passed at home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.  He was 68 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past 48 years.

Mr. Racioppi was a Communicant of St. James R.C Church and was a 3rd degree member and Past Grand Knights of The Don Bosco Knights of Columbus in Port Reading. He was a passionate NJ Devils fan, the king of Mikey's nickel knowledge, and loved doing puzzles and sudoku.

He was predeceased by his wife Cynthia Racioppi who passed away in 2009; his parents Vito and Mary Manfro Racioppi; and his brother Victor Racioppi.

He is survived by his children Jewelee Domenichetti and her husband Michael of Freehold and Michele Racioppi of Avenel; his sisters Carmella Milano of Park Ridge, NJ; a sister-in-law Margaret Racioppi of Cedar Grove; and his beloved grandchildren Adriel, Ava, Amelia and Layla.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, July 8, 2023 9:15 am from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  A 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Metuchen.
