Michael S. Krystosiak passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at his home in Jackson. He was 85 years old. Born in Carteret, he resided in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township for most of his life before moving to Jackson 12 years ago. Mr. Krystosiak was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was employed with Chodash Oil Co. and G.A.T.X. in Carteret for 25 years before retiring in 1978. Mr. Krystosiak was a communicant of St. Aloysius R.C. Church in Jackson and St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Port Reading, where he served as an usher and on the building committee. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society at Saint Anthony's and was a charter member of Don Bosco Council 5809, Knights of Columbus, Port Reading. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary T. Hutnick Krystosiak, in 2005; a sister, Phyllis Martino; and a brother, Edward Krystosiak. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Morlino, and her husband, Steve, of Howell; two sisters, Bernice Erdley of Tinton Falls and Marie Ziembach of Brick; two grandchildren, Danielle Bonilla and her husband, Paul, and Steven Morlino and his wife, Julia; and three great-grandchildren, Allie Bonilla, Evan Bonilla and Angelo Morlino. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from COSTELLO-GREINER FUNERAL HOME , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Port Reading. Entombment will be in St. James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge.
