Michael John Hazen of Cedar Grove passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Alaris Health of Cedar Grove. He was 59 years old.

Born in Danville, PA, he resided in Avenel for most of his life.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, George G. Hazen and Ruth E. Farrell Hazen.

Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Mary Johnston, Margaret Lee, Stephen Hazen, Timothy Hazen and Carl Hazen; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Saint Stephen's Catholic Church, 490 State Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
