Michael A. Faraca, Jr. passed away on Good Friday, April 18, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 75 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on July 6, 1949 to the late Santa and Michael Faraca, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge.

Mike was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was employed as a diesel mechanic with Woodbridge Township for 30 years prior to retiring in 2020; and owned and operated Woodbridge Mower in Avenel for many years.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his beloved son in law, Derek Sebastian Pierre, on November 29, 2024

Surviving are his beloved wife of 47 years, Dottie Faraca; daughters, Nicole Faraca and her husband, Joseph Lombardi, of Hazlet and Christine Faraca of Woodbridge; son, Michael Faraca and his wife, Samantha, of Woodbridge; sister, Dolores Faraca, of Woodbridge; and was awaiting the arrival of his first grandson, Joseph Michael Lombardi. He is also greatly missed by his beloved four legged friend, Yoshi.

A Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
