Obituary

Michael J. DePinto passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his home in Woodbridge surrounded by family who loved him dearly. He was 95 years old.

Born in Hoboken, he has resided in Woodbridge for 48 years.

Mr. DePinto was employed as a machinist with Robert Reiner in Weehawken and Sims Pump and Valve in Hoboken before retiring in 1981; and was a professional musician, playing the saxophone and clarinet.

He was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge

He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah "Sis" Crowne DePinto, in 2006; his parents Onofrio and Lucretia DeGennaro DePinto; a sister, Mary LaCandia; and brothers, Serge, Vito, Frankie, Joseph and John DePinto.

Surviving are his children, Michael DePinto and his wife Patrcia of Toms River, Laura Wright and her husband Arthur of Whiting, Gloria Sievers of Middletown, and Richard DePinto and his wife Jean of Hampton; a sister, Anna DeMaio, of Clifton.

He is also survived by his greatest joy in life, his grandchildren, Michael DePinto, Lori Linke, Kimberly Snyder, Arthur Wright III, Stacey Rossi, Harry Sievers, Scott Sievers, Eric Sievers, Jennifer Ronkiewicz and Richard Depinto; and great grandchildren, Tiffany, Makayla, Cole, Arthur, Alex, Julian, Emily, Ethan, Gavin, Sarah, Michael and Emma.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. There will be no visiting hours.
