Michael J. Denton, 51 of Port Reading, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022.  Michael was born in Perth Amboy, NJ; He resided in Carteret and Port Reading all his life.

He was employed by the Township of Woodbridge Parks Department for many years.

Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a talented mechanic and carpenter.

He was predeceased by his father Raymond Denton.

He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Legeny Yockavitch and her husband Robert; his Fiancé Sharon Conroy; his brothers Raymond Denton of New Brunswick and Robert Legeny of Carteret his sisters Elise Calabrese, Rahway, NJ and Samantha Legeny of Woodbridge.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:30AM at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ and Cremation will be Private.
