Michael T. "Ben" Demarest of Laurence Harbor passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Hartwyck at Edison Estates. He was 66 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ; he resided in Woodbridge before moving to Laurence Harbor 9 years ago.

Mr. Demarest was employed as a Pressman for Amalgamated Lithograph in Union for the past 36 years.

He was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Michael was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Donnelly Demarest.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Andrea Mati Demarest; two sons Andrew Demarest and his wife Robin of South Amboy and John Demarest of Laurence Harbor; two sisters Catherine Minkler of Woodbridge and Margaret Mega of Clark, NJ; three brothers John Demarest of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Peter Demarest of Woodbridge, and Paul Demarest of Middletown, NJ; two grandchildren Andrew and Leanna; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will take place   Wednesday, January 23, 2019 9:45 a.m. From Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.   a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 22. 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
